Speak, Today

So, I've been thinking about the format of this blog and how to sustain some sort of regular cycle for it. I think I have a pattern I like - Mondays will be personal info, and Thursdays will be dedicated to discursive topic of my choice. You'll still get whatever pops out of my head on Monday, but instead of demanding a regular Thursday update, or burdening regular journal entries with the length required for a healthy exegesis on one of my ideas you will instead be treated to the larger discussion posts on a semi-regular day all its own. In case you were interested, I already have two topics lined up some time in the near future:

Theatre vs. Art: Nick Throws Down the Gauntlet or Nick Gets Krista Really Annoyed With Him

and

The Bullshit In The Phrase "Subconsciously Planned Events."

Hopefully I'll actually hit one of them this Thursday. This past weekend has been busy, what with Tanner visiting and whatnot. He came down to Muncie this past Friday and stayed till early Sunday. Much drink and rejoicing was had. Wednesday will be interesting, as the paint crew will be having a potluck dinner. I want to make something interesting, since not only will it be the usual milieu of people making food, but there will also be a Ghanian and Nepalese entry. While I'm thinking about it, I think I might have mentioned a guy I'm working with on the paint crew from Ghana, spelling his name Immanuel. Its actually Emmanuel -oops.

To wrap this up: its Memorial Day and raining. I will not be able to play tennis like I had planned. We've pocked the surface of the earth with death instead of life. Congrats.
