So, the mad rush to Christmas break begins.
I have two projects - one for vis comm, and one for drawing.
For drawing, I am doing a series of 8 pieces, each one depicting a fictitious religion. I'm exploring the notion of spirituality and how it can persist despite a rational refusal to adhere to any pre-existing religions. I like to think of it as the disenfranchised religious. I have a few working titles:
The Bark of the Heavens, From Which I Pour the Light of Suns
Ancient Dance, the Roots of Her People, and an Umbrella
My other project is a rather drawn out, massive, branding project. I've chosen the title Odeki. I will probably post images somewhere, as soon as I decide where I wish to organize my work online. I'm thinking a tumblr account might do.
Other than those things, I'm biding my time and procrastinating. woo for me.
